2/1/2017 South Dakota Wildland Fire Pile Burning Information
The Black Hat and Bear Mountain Handcrews will be burning slash piles in the Hermosa, Rockerville, and High Country areas throughout the week.
The Hot Springs Field Office is currently burning one large pile on the east side of Angostura Recreation Area.
The Hot Springs Field Office is also burning piles in conjunction with South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks on the Battle Mountain GPA.
Custer State Park is burning machine piles beginning this afternoon around Mt. Coolidge and in the Center Lake Area. Burning will continue tomorrow in the areas of Mt. Coolidge and along the Needles Highway.
