    * 8.09 acres - no increase since start date

    * Line around fire 100%

    * Crews and landowners spent yesterday bone piling and raking to consume the most inteior hazards as possible. 

    * Wet haze over fire this morning

    * Size 8.09 acres

    * Human caused

    * Overnight dead and down timber was consumed.  Plans today to stir interior to increase consumption within the line. 

    * 50% contained

UPDATED AT 10:50 pm

    * Reported at 1:40 PM

    * Size 8.09 acres (GPS measure)  -  private land

    * 12 miles southeast of Crawford, NE

    * Cause - Human caused 

    * Line around 1/2 of perimeter by 10:00 pm with dead and down burning in interior. Other half is grass. 

    * Landowner will assume control at midnight tonight.

    * 15 acres, wind driven - Pennington County, 1/2 mile east of Hayward, SD. Private land and State Land 25% contained at 6:45 PM.

    * Human caused - Law enforcement onsite. 

    * Crews will be onsite overnight 

    * Structure fire - spread to grass fire  -  Several other structures threatened

    * Resources - local, state and federal

    * Cause - Abandoned campfire

    * Size - 0.1 acre
