Wall Canyon Fire

- Fire initially reported on 8-27-18 at 14:50
- Location: 5 miles south of Hot Springs near Wall Canyon. Fire started on State land but is burning on both State and Forest Service land.
- Size: approximately 43 acres
- Resources Responding: state, local, NE, BKF, state dozer and VFDs
- All aircraft have been release from the fire
- Cause is lightning
- Weather is helping as there are rain showers currently. Terrain and access were difficult which hindered firefighting.
- 50% contained.
- Next Update this evening.
