Mystic Ranger District (central hills):
- Planning to burn piles in the Pine Grove area sometime this week. Smoke may be visible from Rapid City and Rockerville. Also, planning to burn piles located in the Brush Creek, Hwy, 385 Victoria area. Smoke will be visible from Rapid City and near Pactola.
- One pile will be burned near Rolling Hills and FSR 777 intersection. Smoke may be visible in the Nemo area.
Northern Hills:
- Planning to burn along the Piedmont Fire Trail, east of Nemo, SD and on the west side of Rolling Hills Subdivision.
South Dakota Wildland Fire
- The Hot Springs Field Office is burning slash piles off of Beardsley Drive.
- The Bear Mountain Handcrew is currently burning slash piles in the Pactola Estates Area.
- The Black Hat Handcrew continues to burn slash piles along Rockerville Road.
- The Custer State Park Field Office is burning slash piles near Mt. Coolidge.
