The Bear Mountain Handcrew is burning slash piles in the Boulder Canyon area today and throughout the week as condtions allow. Crews will monitor the piles for several days. Smoke may be visible for several days in the surrounding areas. Photo by Jonathan Palmer

Black Hills National Forest

Conditions permitting, Mystic Fire is planning to burn hand piles 15 miles west of Rapid City, SD starting tomorrow, 2/12/20 and continuing for the next several days. Smoke will be visible from Highway 385 and Rochford Road.
